Thank you for your interest in the Chicago Biomedical Consortium (CBC) programming.
The CBC uses two email lists to communicate with its community:
- CBC Newsletter
- CBCAN News
Subscribers to the CBC Newsletter email list receive the CBC Newsletter (CBCeNEWS). CBCeNEWS is typically distributed twice a year and covers a broad range of CBC programming-related information including funding opportunities, educational events (e.g. annual symposia, course and/ or workshops) and other relevant developments.
Subscribers to the CBCAN News email list receive emails relevant to the Chicago Biomedical Consortium (CBC) Accelerator Network (CBCAN). CBCAN is a community, bringing together industry experts, university tech transfer officers, researchers and others from the local and extended biomedical ecosystem with discoveries that may have commercial potential. The aim is to move promising discoveries into and forward in the pipeline towards commercialization, providing early commercial guidance that universities and university-based researchers need.
CBCAN meetings are central to the CBC Accelerator Award (AA) program, which supports translational biomedical research projects. CBCAN meetings are held several times a year, as needed, and feature presentations of research efforts that may have commercial potential as a key component of the AA program. In addition, CBCAN offers “Fireside Chats” -- meetings with prominent local and national experts who share their entrepreneurial expertise. CBCAN attendance is by invitation only and requires online registration.
To sign up for CBC News please complete and submit the form below. You will have a choice to sign up for either or for both of the CBC email distribution lists. The CBC will not share your email address with the public. For questions about our newsletter or email list, please contact Jola Glotzer, CBC Communications Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
